Kids are bold. They try things. They look at the world with fresh eyes. They imagine the world as it could be. They make use of what they have to create and build. Being bold isn’t about being loud (although it can be). Being bold is about finding what you love and doing it well. It is about taking risks and making mistakes and laughing through it all. It is about finding the people who can be bold with you.
When Ervin Knezek started writing this book, he thought about the kids in his life, his family, the kids he taught, the kids at his school when he was a principal, his friends’ kids, and the kids he saw everywhere. Each one was bold in his or her own way. They are bold, not because of what they do or the grades they make, but because of who they are. Bold kids will change the world.
